The Donalsonville/Seminole County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that country music star Jason Michael Carroll will headline this year’s 2024 Harvest Festival. The event will take place on Saturday, October 19, in downtown Donalsonville, promising a day of musical entertainment and local festivities.
Hailing from Houston, Texas, and raised in Youngsville, North Carolina, Carroll has been a prominent figure in country music for nearly two decades. He first gained national attention in 2006 with his poignant ballad “Alyssa Lies,” which was followed by a series of successful hits including “Livin’ Our Love Song,” “I Can Sleep When I’m Dead,” and “Where I’m From.” These songs, along with his powerful performances and deep connection with fans, have established Carroll as a leading artist in the Nashville scene.
Carroll’s recent independent release, “Pass It On Around,” debuted on January 27, 2023, marking his first major independent project since 2016. The track showcases his signature vocal style and has reasserted his presence in the country music world.
In addition to Carroll’s performance, the Harvest Festival will feature a variety of activities including the Rejoice Run & Mom’s Mile, an annual parade, a performance by local Persnickety Studios, a fine arts show, numerous arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities, and opportunities for local shopping.
Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, October 19, and join in the celebration at the 2024 Harvest Festival in downtown Donalsonville.
