Country singer Rick Trevino, known for his enduring career and versatility, is back with a powerful new single, “The Ride.” Trevino, who first gained prominence in the early 1990s with hits like “Just Enough Rope” and “She Can’t Say I Didn’t Cry,” has distinguished himself with his unique bilingual approach to country music, integrating both English and Spanish lyrics.
Now, more than three decades into his career, Trevino continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances. He is set to headline the 2024 Fort Bend County Fair, marking the grand finale of the 10-day event in Rosenberg. In the weeks leading up to the fair, Trevino will embark on a Texas tour, with performances scheduled in Bandera, Tomball, Navasota, and La Grange.
Trevino’s latest single, “The Ride,” reflects a heartfelt journey through his life and offers guidance to younger listeners. The song, which follows up on the success of his 1998 #1 hit “Running Out of Reasons to Run,” was performed live for the first time on guitar and broadcast on Houston Life.
