Country artist Nate Smith is set to release a new cross-genre collaboration with Swedish DJ and producer Alesso. The track, titled “I Like It,” is scheduled to drop this Friday, July 12. The announcement was made through social media teasers by both artists.
In a recent Instagram video, Smith shared a snippet of the dance track accompanied by the text, “When she’s blonde with just the right amount of crazy.” Alesso also posted behind-the-scenes footage of the duo engaging in casual activities like playing beer pong, along with a caption revealing the track’s release date: “The response to this new one has been insane, July 12th it’s yours.”
Collaborations between country artists and DJs have become increasingly common. For example, Kane Brown is currently making waves with his latest track “Miles on It,” a collaboration with electronic DJ Marshmello.
The new single “I Like It” is available for presave now. Meanwhile, Nate Smith’s single “Bulletproof” is gaining momentum, currently sitting at #5 on the country charts.
