The Animal Charity of Ohio is gearing up for a country music fundraiser aimed at supporting their new facility on Southern Boulevard. Scheduled for July 31 at 5:30 p.m., the event will be hosted at Maze Craze and promises an evening filled with live performances, food, drinks, and family-friendly entertainment.
Highlighting the musical lineup are performances by “The Voice” contestant Noah Spencer and local country artist Mike Cunningham. Cunningham, also in his final year of veterinary school, has a personal connection with the charity, having completed his first clinical rotation with them. “I’m just very happy to be able to help them with whatever I can,” Cunningham expressed, emphasizing his commitment to the cause.
Jane MacMurchy from the Animal Charity of Ohio spoke about their modest financial resources, stating, “We are not so shy about the fact that we don’t have a million-dollar budget that we can just roll off everything that we want and need.” She outlined their careful approach to fundraising, aiming to gather necessary funds in increments to support ongoing construction projects.
Tickets for the fundraiser are priced at $20 and are available for purchase until July 21. Maze Craze, located at 14070 Woodworth Rd (State Route 165) in New Springfield, OH, will host the event. For those interested in attending or supporting the cause, tickets can be purchased through the Animal Charity of Ohio website.
