Fans eagerly anticipated Dierks Bentley’s return to North Dakota at this year’s ND Country Fest, marking his first performance in the state in over two decades. The country star’s concert drew a massive crowd estimated at over 20,000 people in New Salem, North Dakota, despite sweltering temperatures reaching around 90 degrees accompanied by muggy conditions throughout the day.
The event, however, faced weather challenges as severe storms rolled into the area, delaying the schedule by approximately an hour. Diamond Rio, scheduled before Bentley, had to abbreviate their set due to thunderstorms.
Bentley’s performance was a highlight of the festival for many attendees, reflecting his enduring popularity and the strong connection his music maintains with fans. His return to the North Dakota stage was a memorable moment amidst challenging weather conditions that briefly interrupted the festivities.
