Following a triumphant main stage performance at TRNSMT, The Snuts have announced a landmark event in their career: their biggest headline show to date at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro Arena on Friday, December 6th. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, July 16th at 10:00 AM BST, with general sales commencing on Thursday, July 18th at 10:00 AM BST.
2024 has already been a stellar year for The Snuts, highlighted by the release of their third album, Millennials, which charted at #2. The album, released under their own label Happy Artist Records via The Orchard, features tracks like “Gloria,” “Dreams,” “NPC,” and “Millionaires.” Millennials has received rave reviews, with Dork calling it “a total crowd pleaser” and NME dubbing it “an album destined to seal their foothold on the main stages.”
The Snuts have been on a whirlwind tour, performing at Glastonbury’s Other Stage, embarking on a US tour in March, and playing sold-out shows in Japan and Australia in May. They also headlined Liverpool’s Sound City Festival and performed two special album launch shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom in February. Their recent main stage performance at TRNSMT Festival in their hometown was another highlight.
The upcoming show at the OVO Hydro Arena is the culmination of years of hard work, tracing back to their early days at The Clachan in Whitburn and Fauldhouse Cricket Club, to their rise through venues like King Tuts and multiple sellouts at The Barrowlands. This December show will cap off their November UK headline tour, which includes eleven dates across the country.
With chart-topping albums and songs that resonate with today’s youth, The Snuts have built a dedicated fanbase. They promised to take risks, and with Millennials, they have delivered on that promise.
