George Strait, hailed as the King of Country music, is set to perform live at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, thanks to the efforts of Dean Dillon, renowned songwriter behind hits like Strait’s iconic song ‘The Chair.’

Scheduled for October 9th, the concert promises an evening of musical magic, showcasing Strait’s legendary talent and featuring other notable country stars such as Vince Gill, Riley Green, and surprise guests yet to be announced. This event, part of the Concerts 4 a Cause series, aims to raise funds for charity, specifically benefiting the Huntsville School Music Program.

WDRM disc jockey Blaire Davis anticipates significant economic benefits for Huntsville, citing the event’s potential to generate millions of dollars through increased hotel bookings, restaurant patronage, and local transportation services.

“This writers in the round night will be a highlight,” expressed Dillon, reflecting the excitement surrounding the lineup and charitable mission of the event.

Tickets for the concert, starting at $125.00, will be available starting July 18th at the box office, offering fans an opportunity to experience an unforgettable night of country music while supporting a worthy cause.
