Fans eagerly anticipating new music from emerging artist Kashus Culpepper will soon have their wish granted. Culpepper recently announced that his anticipated single, “Who Hurt You,” will officially debut on Friday, July 19th.
“This song means so much to me,” Culpepper shared in a heartfelt social media post alongside previews of the upcoming track. “It was one of the first original songs I shared on socials. @markaddisonmusic and I wrote it to express some deep emotions, and the response has been incredible.”
From early glimpses online, “Who Hurt You” promises a poignant acoustic experience, embellished with vibrant strings and carried by Culpepper’s emotive vocals.
“I was initially hesitant to release it,” Culpepper admitted about the personal nature of the song. “But the support and encouragement I’ve received have shown me we all face challenges, and there’s always hope. Your comments, messages, and singing along at my shows have truly warmed my heart. I love you all, and I can’t wait for you to hear the full version.”
This new release follows closely on the heels of Culpepper’s debut single, “After Me?,” which premiered in mid-June shortly after the artist signed with Big Loud Records.
“I’m truly honored to join the Big Loud family,” Culpepper expressed about the significant career milestone. “Their belief in my music from the start means the world to me. Their passion for music and its rich history resonates deeply with mine, and I’m thrilled to be among such talented artists. Thank you all for believing in my music. Much love!”
With upcoming tour support slots for Charley Crockett and NEEDTOBREATHE lined up for the summer, Culpepper’s journey promises more exciting music releases and live performances ahead.
