The country music star’s video captures him driving through a stormy landscape in his pickup truck, reflecting the song’s themes of struggle and redemption. The lyrics, including lines like, “‘Cause that highway to hell is the road I’m on / I need to turn around before I’m too far gone,” resonate with the film’s intense atmosphere. The chorus emphasizes a need for change: “If I’m ever gonna make it on them streets of gold / I gotta quit livin’ on a dead end road.”
