Cardi B Accepts Joe Budden’s Apology After Public Feud

Cardi B has officially accepted Joe Budden’s apology following a heated exchange over her music career. On July 20, Cardi B took to X (formerly Twitter) to acknowledge Budden’s apology, which came after he criticized her music and personal life.

In her post, Cardi expressed frustration with Budden’s recent commentary. “I got love for you, Joe, but you’ve been changing your tone with me heavily over the past three years, whether it’s about music or personal matters,” she wrote. She also noted a specific incident in December when Budden’s comments about her marriage were perceived as insensitive.

Despite the criticism, Cardi concluded her message with, “It’s all love tho, see you soon.” This followed her earlier response on July 18, where she confronted Budden for his negative remarks about her album and personal life during an X Spaces session.

Budden, who had been criticized by Cardi for his harsh opinions, responded with an apology on his X account. He pledged not to cover any more of her career on his podcast, stating, “I promise you and can assure you, I will not cover a single thing this girl does for the remainder of her career… Peace & love.” He also denied Cardi’s claim of a past lap dance and drug use, adding, “I have also never done coke.”
