Rising country music star Dasha is not just making waves with her singles and albums but also with her eerie childhood memories. Known for tracks like “Better Than She Did” and “7 Minutes In Heaven,” Dasha has recently delved into her past, sharing a chilling ghost story from her youth.
Appearing on Taste of Country Morning with Wood and Nicole, Dasha recounted her experiences growing up in a reportedly haunted house. According to Dasha, her stepsister once described seeing a “little girl in a white nightgown” sitting on her bed. “It was this super haunted house. This family had died like 200 years ago when it was built, and this little girl had died in my room and I had no idea,” Dasha explained.
Although Dasha herself never saw the ghost, her stepsister vividly recalled the apparition and even claimed that the ghost looked directly at her. Dasha’s stepsister chose to keep the encounter a secret until they moved out of the house.
Amidst her ghostly past, Dasha has been making significant strides in her music career. Her latest album, What Happens Now?, released in February 2024, and her performance of “Austin” at the 2024 CMT Awards have garnered considerable acclaim, solidifying her presence in the country music scene.
