Metallica, alongside their All Within My Hands foundation, has confirmed the return of the Helping Hands Concert & Auction for its fourth edition, scheduled for December 13 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted once again by Jimmy Kimmel, this charitable event follows the success of the previous L.A. show in December 2022, which raised an impressive $3,000,000. All proceeds directly support All Within My Hands’ initiatives, including workforce education, hunger relief, disaster response, and local community services.
The event in 2022 featured notable appearances by Robert Downey Jr., Tony Hawk, St. Vincent, and leaders from six partner non-profit organizations of AWMH. The evening concluded with a special acoustic/electric performance by Metallica and a set by Greta Van Fleet.
The upcoming concert promises another unforgettable evening of music and philanthropy. Details regarding this year’s lineup and auction items will be announced soon. All funds raised from ticket sales and auction items will go towards supporting AWMH’s ongoing charitable efforts. Since its inception in 2017, All Within My Hands has raised over $15 million, with contributions including $8.2 million to career and technical education programs through the Metallica Scholars Initiative, over $3.6 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.5 million for disaster relief efforts.
