Justin Moore Slams Fake Country Stars in New Track

Justin Moore is making waves with his latest release, calling out those he believes are masquerading as authentic country artists. In his new song “Put A Boot In It,” Moore expresses his frustration with individuals who he feels misrepresent the genre.

Moore’s lyrics are direct and unfiltered, making his stance clear. As reported by whiskeyriff.com, the song includes lines such as:

“We can see your BS from a red dirt mile away
You ain’t foolin’ no one with your Realtree or your slang
Talkin’ like you’re one of us, but you’re more country club
I’m about to take your country club
And put a boot in it”

Moore’s critique is aimed at what he perceives as inauthentic performers who, despite their polished images and attempts at country flair, fall short of true country music’s essence. To him, their pretense undermines the integrity of genuine country artistry.

This isn’t Moore’s first foray into music with a strong message. His previous hit, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” served as a heartfelt tribute to fallen soldiers. As noted by The Boot, Moore frequently mentioned the song’s title during his concerts before deciding to immortalize it in a dedicated track, collaborating with three songwriters to create the poignant piece.
