Justin Moore is set to release a bold new track, “Put a Boot in It,” this Friday, taking aim at what he perceives as inauthentic elements within the country music scene.
The song’s lyrics are direct and unfiltered, addressing those he feels are falsely portraying themselves as country music aficionados. In the track, Moore asserts:
“We can see your B.S. from a red dirt mile away
You ain’t foolin’ no one with your Realtree or your slang
Talkin’ like you’re one of us, but you’re more country club
I’m about to take your country club
And put a boot in it”
Fans can preview the song’s teaser clip on Moore’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
Moore is also scheduled for a series of fair and festival appearances throughout the summer. For tickets and a complete list of tour dates, visit justinmooremusic.com.
His latest album, Stray Dog, released in 2023, includes the hit single “You, Me, and Whiskey,” featuring Priscilla Block.
