The 2024 Country Thunder music festival in Wisconsin saw a significant number of arrests and citations by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department (KCSD).
According to a recent release, the KCSD issued 100 County Ordinance Citations and made 24 arrests during the festival, which took place from July 17-21.
Of the arrests, 10 were for disorderly conduct, and three for resisting an officer. The remaining arrests spanned various offenses, including battery and carrying concealed weapons.
Among the 100 citations issued, 54 were for underage alcohol violations, making it the most common offense over the four-day event. Additionally, there were 11 citations for obstruction/resisting an officer and 10 for trespassing.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department expressed gratitude to all agencies and staff members who contributed to the festival’s overall success.
