Melodic and progressive metal ensemble Mass Of Amara has launched their latest EP, “Through The Ether,” showcasing a robust sound characterized by commanding low-end frequencies and a gritty guitar crunch. The release seamlessly integrates gentle melodies and expansive atmospherics within a progressive compositional framework.
“This is our second full EP release,” remarked the band about “Through The Ether,” which comprises five tracks, including the atmospheric interlude “The Ether” leading into the EP’s closer, “Storm.” Vocalist Ella, who penned the lyrics, delves into personal reflections on life’s challenges and unexpected moments that spur personal growth. “Sometimes it’s hard to cope with certain emotions, but expressing and analyzing them allows us to move forward,” Ella added.
The EP’s title, “Through The Ether,” draws inspiration from the depths of the unconscious mind, serving as a metaphorical journey towards healing and self-discovery.
