Seventeen-year-old rising star Emmagen Rain made her debut at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe on Thursday, July 25. The Murwillumbah native described the experience as “scratching this off the bucket list” as she performed her new song, “Love Me Like A Cowboy,” at the iconic venue.
The Bluebird Cafe, a cornerstone of Nashville’s country music scene, has been immortalized in pop culture through mentions in Bruce Springsteen’s “Somewhere North Of Nashville,” the Foo Fighters’ “Congregation,” and John Waite’s “Bluebird Cafe.” It’s also the place where many artists, including Taylor Swift, have been discovered.
Rain credits Swift’s album 1989 with changing her life, adding a personal touch to her memorable performance at a venue that has launched numerous careers.
