Legendary metal band Stryper is gearing up to celebrate their 40th Anniversary with a tour across the United States this fall. Known for their iconic sound and unwavering presence in the metal scene, Stryper has added new dates to their highly anticipated tour itinerary.
The band expressed their excitement about the upcoming milestone, stating, “Our 40th Anniversary tour is right around the corner! Find the city closest to you and come celebrate with us. During this one-of-a-kind, 2-set show, we will be performing fan favorites spanning 4 decades. VIP packages are also available at each venue.”
The tour kicks off in Greeneville, TN at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center on September 11th and includes stops at notable venues such as the Goodyear Theater in Akron, OH (new date added), The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX, and the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts in Patchogue, NY. New dates have been added in Cedar Park, TX at Haute Spot and El Paso, TX at The Plaza Theatre.
Accompanying their tour announcement, Stryper will release their new album, “When We Were Kings,” on September 13th through Frontiers Music srl. The album marks a significant chapter in their career and includes new singles like “Loves Symphony,” blending classic and modern rock influences, and the pop-leaning “Grateful,” both accompanied by music videos.
Reflecting on “Loves Symphony,” lead vocalist Michael Sweet shared, “We’re always trying to merge the past with the present. Trying to incorporate the classic sound that older fans miss with the modern sound that newer fans hope for. ‘Love’s Symphony’ is a great combination of both. It not only represents who we were but also who we are. We really are excited about this one and we hope you all are too.”
