Jack White, the celebrated musician and founder of Third Man Records, has officially announced the release of his highly anticipated new album, “No Name”. Following a clandestine white-label appearance at Third Man Records locations, where lucky customers received free unmarked vinyl copies, the album is set to arrive on all DSPs and streaming platforms on Friday, August 2nd.
Fans can also look forward to a blue indie vinyl edition available in Third Man Records retail stores on Thursday, August 1st, followed by availability in select independent record stores worldwide the next day. For those preferring black vinyl, pre-orders begin Friday, August 2nd on thirdmanrecords.com and jackwhiteiii.com.
“No Name” was recorded, produced, and mixed entirely by Jack White at his renowned Third Man Studio over the course of 2023 and 2024. The vinyl pressing was handled at Third Man Pressing, underscoring White’s commitment to maintaining artistic control and craftsmanship throughout the album’s creation and distribution process.
The album’s surprise unveiling on July 19th, where it was distributed as a giveaway with purchases at Third Man stores, ignited excitement among fans and underscored the community-oriented ethos of Third Man Records.
In conjunction with the album release, Jack White has also announced a series of tour dates for 2024, kicking off with performances in Nashville, Atlanta, and Athens in July. The tour will continue with international stops in South Korea, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark throughout August, culminating in a headline slot at Desert Daze in Lake Perris, CA from October 10-13.
