Carrie Underwood and Papa Roach have teamed up for a new rendition of “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)”, set to release on Friday, August 2nd. Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, the collaboration continues Papa Roach’s mission to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health alongside their partner organization, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Both artists have committed to donating royalties from the song in perpetuity to support these causes, including the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States and Canada.

Inspired by this impact, the band renamed the single to align with AFSP’s “Talk Away The Dark” campaign and pledged ongoing royalties to support mental health initiatives. The song resonated globally, achieving #1 on the Rock charts and Top-10 on Alternative charts in the US.
