Post Malone has announced the tracklisting for his eagerly awaited country album, F-1 Trillion. The 18-track LP features an impressive lineup of country music legends and contemporary stars, including Dolly Parton, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Brad Paisley.

The album includes the previously released single “Pour Me A Drink,” featuring Blake Shelton. Shelton recently shared a personal anecdote about Malone, revealing that Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, grew up believing that Shelton’s 2001 hit “Austin” was written about him. Malone’s mother had told him the song was inspired by him, a belief Malone held during his childhood.

In an interview with American Songwriter, Shelton recounted Malone’s story: “Post’s real name is Austin, and he told me that when he was a kid, his mom told him that song was written about him. That’s what he told me, and he said he believed it. His mom was, I guess, the country music fan in the family, and his dad was the rock guy. So, I guess that’s how Post Malone was created.”

Shelton, who is married to Gwen Stefani of No Doubt, admitted that he never inquired why Malone chose him for the collaboration. “He’s just so excited about music,” Shelton said. “Literally, we spent an hour one night with him just playing me music that he is fired up about. I still, to this day, have never asked him, ‘Hey, why me? Why did you call me for this?’”

Shelton expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “I’m proud of that record. I’m proud to have worked with him. I think he’s an incredibly talented guy. Now that I’ve spent some time with him, it’s no mystery to me that he’s as huge as he is as an artist and successful as he is because he’s just somebody that you just love being around. He’s just so much fun.”

Shelton noted Malone’s deep-rooted appreciation for country music, attributing Malone’s enthusiasm for his new album to his Texas upbringing. “I think he probably feels like a new artist again,” Shelton said. “Now he’s doing it, and you can tell he’s been holding it in for a while, and he’s super fired up about it.”

In addition to “Pour Me A Drink,” F-1 Trillion features the singles “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen and “Guy For That” with Luke Combs.
