Meghan Trainor is set to release a deluxe edition of her latest album, Timeless, on August 16. The expanded album will feature a new track titled “Make A Move,” adding to the success of her sixth studio album, which initially debuted earlier this year with hit singles “To The Moon” and “Whoops.”
Trainor expressed her excitement about the deluxe edition in a recent statement: “I’ve been saving these songs for a minute now. The deluxe album is the perfect way to get the recognition that they deserved. I can’t wait to sing them with everybody on the road next month!”
The 30-year-old pop star first gained widespread recognition with her 2014 viral hit “All About That Bass” and has since released five additional albums: Title, Thank You, Treat Myself, A Very Trainor Christmas, and Takin’ It Back.
Following a hiatus from touring since 2016, Trainor will embark on her Timeless Tour, traveling across the U.S. throughout September and October. The tour marks her return to the stage after several years.
Trainor previously described Timeless as her “best yet,” highlighting the album’s theme of grappling with the fear of losing loved ones. She told Official Charts, “It honestly feels like my first album all over again. I mean, it’s always crazy, but I honestly feel like this is my best stuff yet. It’s got a lot of self-help pop bangers, which I think is what I do best. I have some really soulful songs—the title track, ‘Timeless,’ is about me not wanting to lose the people in my life that I love. That’s my worst nightmare.”
The deluxe edition of Timeless is scheduled for release on August 16, ahead of her highly anticipated tour.
