Chase Matthew has achieved a significant milestone as his debut single, “Love You Again,” climbs to No. 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for the week of August 10. This marks a notable rise for the rookie artist, with the song experiencing a 3% increase in audience impressions, reaching 16.3 million, according to Luminate.
The 26-year-old Matthew, hailing from Sevierville, Tennessee, co-penned the track with Casey Brown and Taylor Phillips. “Love You Again” is featured on his album Come Get Your Memory, which peaked at No. 8 on the Heatseekers Albums chart in June 2023. This achievement follows his previous success with Born for This, which reached No. 2 in February 2022.
Remarkably, “Love You Again” has reached the Country Airplay top 10 in its 62nd week on the chart, marking the second-longest ascent to this tier in the chart’s 34-year history. The record is held by Brett Young’s “You Didn’t,” which reached No. 10 in its 70th week in April 2023.
