Punk legends D.O.A and FEAR are joining forces with WAR ON WOMEN for a high-energy tour across the United States this August. The tour will see FEAR headlining select dates alongside Italian punk band GIUDA, while D.O.A and WAR ON WOMEN will dominate the full run of northeast and midwest cities from August 1 to 11. This lineup promises an electrifying experience, channeling the raw intensity reminiscent of a school bus full of punks speeding through The Decline of Western Civilization.
Canadian punk pioneers D.O.A, often credited as founders of hardcore punk, have been delivering their politically charged anthems globally for over 25 years. D.O.A’s Joey Sh*thead expressed his excitement, stating, “The D.O.A./War On Women tour this August is gonna be a kick-ass, over-the-top, wild punk rock tour! With two of the most political and intense live bands in the world, it’s going to be unforgettable!”
Joining D.O.A are Baltimore’s WAR ON WOMEN, known for their dynamic stage presence, progressive riffs, and bold lyrics. The band, active for over a decade, will offer fans a sneak peek of their upcoming fourth studio album, following their critically acclaimed Wonderful Hell (Bridge Nine Records). Frontwoman Shawna Potter is eager to hit the road again, saying, “I love my dog, but it’s time to get back out there.” WAR ON WOMEN will also be featured on the main stage at “The Fest” this October and will wrap up the year touring Canada with the legendary metal band VOIVOD.
