Ashley McBryde appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America Wednesday, discussing her latest album, The Devil I Know, and delivering a spirited performance of its title track.
During her conversation with anchor Michael Strahan, McBryde explained the album cover, which features “five different versions” of herself. She noted, “We didn’t set out to do it that way, but once we saw the image, it became clear that making this record was about embracing all aspects of ourselves, both the ones we love and those we struggle with.”
She elaborated, “The process has been about not just accepting these aspects but learning to love them.”
McBryde then took to the stage in an olive green jumpsuit, electrifying the audience with her rendition of “The Devil I Know.” Her performance, complete with an electric guitar, showcased the song’s dynamic tempo and powerful lyrics.
