Country music star Lauren Alaina has returned to the spotlight with a heartfelt message following the recent death of her father. Alaina had previously announced the passing of J.J. Suddeth on July 24, taking a brief hiatus from her tour to mourn and be with her family.
In her initial announcement on Instagram, Alaina shared the devastating news: “We lost my daddy last night. And I really don’t have words yet. I want to let y’all know that I’m not able to play the three shows I had scheduled for this weekend in Savannah, Virginia Beach, and Charlotte as I am going home to be with my family.”
Expressing her gratitude to fans for their support during this challenging time, Alaina has now resumed her tour. She took to social media to thank her supporters, saying, “Thank you. I can’t think of much else to say right now other than thank you. Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and continued to show up for me.” Alaina also extended her appreciation to Jason and Brittany Aldean for their family-like support during her time of need.
