Country music star Bryan Martin has unexpectedly canceled his upcoming tour, citing “personal reasons” in a statement released this week. The 38-year-old singer, known for his hit “We Ride,” expressed his sadness over the decision and reassured fans that he hopes to reschedule the shows once possible.
“I’m sad to announce that, due to personal reasons, I will not be touring for the next few months, and all dates are canceled,” Martin wrote. “We will try our best to reschedule where feasible with the venues and promoters. Thanks to everyone for their support while I work through things.”
The Machine Shop, which manages ticketing for Martin’s shows, confirmed that full refunds have been issued and clarified that the hiatus is due to health concerns. “Bryan will be stepping away from touring for the time being for personal health reasons. He apologizes deeply for the inconvenience and looks forward to returning to the road soon. We wish him a speedy recovery.”
In the wake of the announcement, Martin has received an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, including American Idol runner-up Will Moseley, who tweeted, “Love you brother! Always a phone call away!”
