Country music icon George Strait is set to bring his legendary presence to Huntsville this fall. On October 9, Strait will headline the much-anticipated “Songs and Stories of Dean Dillon” tribute concert at the Von Braun Center Propst Arena.
The event promises to be a night to remember, featuring an impressive lineup of country music stars. Joining Strait on stage will be Vince Gill, Ronnie Dunn, Riley Green, Justin Moore, Jamey Johnson, Pam Tillis, Zach Top, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Currington, Gramps Morgan, and the evening’s honoree, Dean Dillon himself.
Tickets for this must-see concert are available through platforms such as SeatGeek, VividSeats, and StubHub. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be filmed for a television special that will air at a later date.
This upcoming performance follows Strait’s record-breaking concert at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, this past June, where he played to a staggering 110,905 fans. That show set a new U.S. record for attendance at a ticketed concert, surpassing the previous record held by The Grateful Dead for their 1997 concert at Raceway Park in New Jersey. It also marked the highest attendance for a single event at Kyle Field, eclipsing the stadium’s football attendance record set in 2014.
In addition to his ongoing achievements, George Strait is also set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He will be honored alongside other notable musicians such as Keith Urban, Prince, and Busta Rhymes as part of the 2025 Hollywood Walk of Fame class.
