Despite their popularity, many were surprised to learn that the band hails from Versailles, France.
The closing ceremony, held at Stade de France, celebrated Pierre de Coubertin’s legacy while highlighting French culture and fashion. The event featured a variety of memorable moments, including a celebration of the Olympic Refugee Team, a Paris-to-Los Angeles flag handover between female mayors, and performances by Leon Marchand and other international artists.
