Gwen Stefani Cancels New Jersey Show Due to Injury

Gwen Stefani has been forced to cancel her upcoming solo performance in New Jersey following an undisclosed injury. The show, originally scheduled for August 17 at Hard Rock Live at the Etess Arena, will be postponed as Stefani recovers.

In an announcement on her Instagram Stories, Stefani, 54, stated: “As a result of a recent injury and in consultation with my doctors, I’ve been advised that I’m not able to perform on August 17 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City. I’m so sorry and we are planning to reschedule the show as soon as possible. Ticketmaster will email ticket holders as soon as the new show is announced. Current tickets will be valid for the new date.”

The Hard Rock resort’s website echoed this message, noting, “Gwen Stefani’s show, originally scheduled for August 17, has been postponed. We are working to reschedule the show as soon as possible. Ticket holders will receive more information via email once the new date is confirmed.”

Stefani, who recently reunited with No Doubt for a performance at the Coachella Valley Music Festival in April, is scheduled to appear at three more events this year. These include the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 20, the South Star Music Festival in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 28, and Live Out Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, on October 12. It is not yet known if these upcoming shows will be impacted by her injury.

This news follows the recent release of Stefani’s new song “Hello World,” a collaboration with Ryan Tedder and Anderson .Paak, launched to celebrate the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
