Fairfield County is preparing for a major influx of visitors as the highly anticipated Field & Stream Music Festival approaches. Set to take place from October 4th to 6th at Carolina Adventure World in Winnsboro, the festival is expected to draw a crowd that could double the county’s population.

With a lineup featuring top country artists such as Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Bailey Zimmerman, Riley Green, and rising star Shaboozey, excitement is building among country music fans. The event is anticipated to attract between 12,000 and 15,000 attendees, with around 4,000 opting to stay on-site.

Dillon Pullen, President of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the festival’s impact on the local community. “It’s huge for us,” Pullen said. “When you talk about bringing in 10-15,000, maybe even more people, that’s a lot for a county of 21,000 citizens.”

Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, explained why Fairfield County was selected as the festival’s venue. “Eric Church is from the Carolinas, so it made complete sense, and it sits right in between Charlotte and Columbia,” Durkin said.

In addition to the star-studded performances, the festival will offer a variety of activities, including tournaments, tours, and excursions, making it a comprehensive experience for all attendees.
