Joe Jonas has revealed that his upcoming solo album, Music For People Who Believe In Love, will feature an array of high-profile collaborations. Scheduled for release in October, this will be Jonas’s second solo project, following his 2011 debut, Fastlife.

At 34, Jonas continues to be a prominent figure in the music industry, both as a member of The Jonas Brothers, alongside his siblings Nick and Kevin since 2005, and as the frontman of DNCE, a role he has held since 2015.

The forthcoming album is anticipated to be deeply personal, reflecting Jonas’s recent divorce from actress Sophie Turner. Despite the album’s introspective nature, Jonas has promised a diverse range of vocal contributions.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jonas shared insights into the album’s collaborative spirit. “We packed it with features,” he said. “I was reaching out to a lot of different people because I felt like I wanted to have other narratives and other voices and a lot of duets.”

He elaborated, “I felt like some of the songs lyrically needed somebody else’s voice. A lot of this album is speaking in third person or having a conversation with a fictional version of myself, or a fictional person in my life. Being able to have that (other) voice create that was really special.”

Jonas was previously married to Sophie Turner, known for her role on Game of Thrones, from 2019 to 2023. The couple shares two daughters, born in July 2020 and July 2022.
