Country music star Tyler Conti will perform at Warren Correctional Institution later this month as part of the 2024 Rock the Yard Concert series. This event, organized by the Cleveland-based True Freedom Ministries and Nashville’s Impact Records, marks the finale of a summer tour that visited eight Ohio prisons across the Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton regions.
Sponsored by Ohio’s TMG Companies and its Cares Foundation, the concert aims to extend the reach of True Freedom Ministries’ mission, which has been active in Ohio prisons for over a decade. The nonprofit focuses on preparing inmates for successful reintegration through faith, education, and job training. Damon Mintz, Chairman & CEO of TMG Cares and TMG Entertainment/Impact Records, highlighted the partnership’s potential to deepen the ministry’s impact and inspire change.
The series has already made a significant impact, with nearly half of the 900 inmates who listened to Conti’s song “Love from a Son” expressing a desire to embrace Christianity.
