In a surprising turn of events, The Weeknd has revealed new tour dates for his Australian fans after initially canceling his 2023 tour plans.

The Canadian artist, known for hits like “Starboy,” had originally scheduled his After Hours Til Dawn world tour to conclude in Australia and New Zealand in November and December 2023. However, these dates were postponed and eventually canceled due to “schedule and logistical constraints.”

On Monday, The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, announced he will indeed be performing in Australia, reigniting excitement among his fans. In a statement to Billboard, he expressed his enthusiasm: “I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn’t forgotten about you.
