Blossoms are set to embark on a UK and Ireland tour this fall in support of their upcoming album, Gary. The tour will kick off in Newcastle on October 17 and conclude in Dublin on November 16.

The band, led by Tom Ogden, expressed excitement about performing their new material and fan favorites, noting that Gary was recorded live. “This album was recorded live so we can’t wait to play the new tunes and all your favourites at these great venues in a couple of months. Gary might even be at some (depending on venue stage heights)!” they said.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, August 23, with presale access available from Wednesday, August 21 for those who pre-order the album. Gary, produced by James Skelly of The Coral and Jungle’s Josh Lloyd-Watson, is set for release on September 20. Singer CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson) co-wrote two tracks on the album, “I Like Your Look” and “Why Do I Give You the Worst of Me?”

Tom Ogden highlighted the collaborative nature of the album, stating, “The heart of this record is about the five of us recording live in a room together for the first time in years. We wanted to capture the energy of what it’s like when five friends decide to start a band and make music together.” The band drew inspiration from artists like Bowie, Blondie, and Hall and Oates during the writing process.
