Bou Boyz country music artist Jordan Emery has unveiled his latest single, featuring platinum country artist Neal McCoy. The new track, “Let’s Fix This,” marks a significant collaboration between the two artists and carries a profound message.
The song’s origins date back to 2020, when Emery and hit songwriter Randy Boudreaux, along with producer Ronnie Fruge, were discussing relationships over coffee at Fruge’s home. Inspired by the conversation, Boudreaux began crafting the song, and within an hour, the initial version was complete.
Emery had planned to release the track soon after recording it, but a shift in perspective led him to reimagine its meaning. The song evolved from a simple love story into a broader reflection on America’s need for spiritual renewal. Emery then recorded a new version of the song at Matt Moss Music Studio in Lake Charles, inspired by a sense of patriotism. He decided to include a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance at the end of the track, which he felt was a fitting tribute.
Following the recording, Emery and Boudreaux approached Chris Lognion of Media Post Film and Video to create a music video. Impressed by the song, Lognion agreed to film the video, scheduling it before his busy schedule filled up.
The release of “Let’s Fix This” underscores Emery’s commitment to blending personal and national themes, making it a poignant addition to his discography.
