Janet Jackson has revealed that her forthcoming Las Vegas residency will be an exhilarating experience for fans. The iconic performer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the news that she will be kicking off the New Year with a series of shows at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Jackson enthusiastically wrote, “We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week! This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can’t wait! Sending so much love.”
The announcement has garnered enthusiastic responses from Jackson’s peers. Her sister, La Toya Jackson, extended her congratulations and praised the gold sequin jacket featured in the promotional imagery. “Congratulations Jan!!! OMG I Love love love this look on you! I love you sweetheart!” La Toya wrote.

The Las Vegas residency, titled “Janet Jackson: Las Vegas,” will commence on December 30 and will include a performance on New Year’s Eve. Tickets for the 10-show series will be available for purchase starting August 28.
