The Grammy-nominated artist shared the news with fans via Instagram, revealing that his departure from the concert was interrupted by a Coast Guard stop.

In an Instagram story, Jelly Roll described the situation: “So, we were leaving Bash on the Bay and we got pulled over by the Coast Guard!” He added, “It was crazy. We had the county sheriff with us, but it turned out to be OK. We’re back on our way. Thank you everybody who was concerned.”

Ottawa County Sheriff officials confirmed that the Coast Guard stop was a routine safety check, with no citations issued and everyone allowed to continue on their way.
