Lee Brice’s album Hey World has reached a significant milestone, earning RIAA Platinum certification. Released in 2020, the 15-track album was crafted under unique circumstances due to pandemic-related lockdowns.
In a statement, Brice reflected on the challenges of creating the album, saying, “Hey World wasn’t an easy album to put together. It was my first time trying to work with a team of incredible collaborators and songwriters while we were all in different places and unable to go our traditional route of creating.”
Brice expressed gratitude for the continued support from fans, noting, “There were a lot of challenges, but I’m proud of this album and incredibly honored that the fans continue to support me and my music. Thank you all!”
Hey World features several hit singles, including “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce, “One of Them Girls,” “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” and “Save the Roses.” The latter was released as a single following the passing of Brice’s longtime friend and album co-producer Kyle Jacobs in February 2023.
