Nate Smith is set to release his highly anticipated sophomore album, California Gold, on October 4. The announcement, made Friday, also revealed the album’s tracklist.

The new record will feature 16 tracks, including the hit single “Bulletproof,” a second collaboration with Avril Lavigne titled “Can You Die From a Broken Heart,” and the recently released single “Fix What You Didn’t Break.” Smith describes “Fix What You Didn’t Break” as a blend of 2000s rock influences and heartfelt country, inspired by bands like Lifehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, and 3 Doors Down.

Smith expressed his enthusiasm for the album, stating, “I want to make love songs that cut deep but are still tough.” He collaborated with the same team behind his hit “World On Fire,” including Ashley Gorley, Lindsay Rimes, and Taylor Philips.

California Gold is available for presave now. Smith will launch his Through The Smoke Tour on September 19 in Portland, Oregon. Tickets are available at natesmithofficial.com.
