Beckmann, whose 2023 album Here’s To You. Here’s To Me. garnered acclaim from outlets like Saving Country Music, is poised to make a national impact. That moment has now arrived.
Expressing his excitement about the partnership, Beckmann stated, “I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the Warner family. From the very beginning, they’ve had such a holistic understanding of both my journey to this point and vision for the future. I can’t wait to begin releasing music together.”
Stephanie Wright, Warner Music Nashville’s Senior Vice President of A&R, praised Beckmann’s unique style, saying, “William has a swagger that is both retro and youthful. Combine that with his rich, timeless vocal, and the result is a modern-vintage sound that is quite unique not just to the country format, but to all genres of music. Whether he is serenading in English or in Spanish, you immediately recognize that William Beckmann is in the one-of-one category of artists.”
Beckmann first made waves with his traditional country breakout single “Bourbon Whiskey” in 2021, followed by his 2022 debut album Faded Memories, which showcased his versatility in contemporary country. A bilingual artist with deep roots in the Texas borderland, Beckmann is equally adept at performing classical Tejano ballads, a genre in which he could easily build an entire career.
Already signed with Warner Chappell for publishing, Beckmann’s career was initially guided by Randy Rogers. He has opened for renowned acts such as Parker McCollum, Hank Williams Jr., and Charley Crockett, and has sold out Gruene Hall five times on his own. With his signing to Warner Music Nashville, Beckmann is set to bring his distinctive sound to a broader audience.
