Camp Fimfo is set to launch a two-day “camp out concert series” from October 11-12 at its Waco campgrounds, located at 1000 Chickadee Lane. The festival will kick off with a pre-party on October 10 outside Squirrely’s Tavern, according to Sales and Experience Manager Brian Crownover.
General admission tickets start at $39 per day, with an additional $10 required for parking, which is necessary for those not staying at the campgrounds. The event will feature a diverse lineup: Hannah Dasher, A Thousand Horses, and Travis Tritt will perform on October 11, while Kody West, LANCO, and Chris Lane are slated for October 12.
The festival is designed to be family-friendly, with performances scheduled from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. to accommodate attendees of all ages. In addition to music, Camp Fimfo will offer various attractions, including vendors like Main Event, Sendero Provisions Co., and The Bear Mountain, featuring games, merchandise, and family activities. Multiple food trucks will also be announced.
Guests staying at the park can enjoy amenities such as cabanas, a pool bar, pickleball courts, and a water park. Crownover emphasized the festival’s appeal as a fun, relaxed weekend event and expressed hope for favorable weather in October.
Camp Fimfo began planning for this festival in January, collaborating with Jayson Entertainment Group, a Nashville-based live entertainment company, to secure talent and organize the event. Aaron Green, a talent buyer and producer for Jayson Entertainment Group, highlighted the festival’s unique setting and amenities. He noted that the combination of camping, cabins, and family-friendly activities sets this event apart from larger festivals.
“This festival offers a unique experience with beautiful scenery and a range of activities for all ages,” Green said. “It’s an accessible and affordable option for families looking for a memorable festival experience.”
