Radium Hot Springs country musician Emma Kade is experiencing a breakthrough in her musical career. Recently, she had the opportunity of a lifetime, performing alongside Canadian country music star Brett Kissel at the Brett Boat Concert in Windermere. The momentum continues as she prepares to play at the pre-party for the Invermere Block Party, which will feature classic rock legend Tom Cochrane in early September.
Kade has been honing her musical craft for more than a decade, exploring various genres before making the switch to country music two years ago. Her transition to country was sparked by winning a contest to open for Dean Brody in Fort Steele, a pivotal moment that set her on her current path.
On September 6, Kade will perform at First Fridays, coinciding with the Invermere Block Party, where Tom Cochrane—famous for his hit “Life is a Highway”—will headline an open-air street concert near Eddie Mountain Arena. This event marks another significant milestone in Kade’s burgeoning career.
