Rising country star Wyatt Flores has announced the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Welcome To The Plains, set to drop on October 18 through Island Records. Fans can now pre-order or pre-save the album ahead of its release.
Welcome To The Plains, produced by Beau Bedford (known for his work with Orville Peck and Shane Smith & The Saints), was recorded across Los Angeles and Asheville. The album captures Flores’ personal journey as he navigates leaving his hometown of Stillwater, Oklahoma, while exploring the highs and lows of life on the road.
The 14-track album features collaborations with notable songwriters such as Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show and Aaron Raitiere. Flores combines traditional country and folk elements to deliver the heartfelt and authentic storytelling he is known for.
In anticipation of the album, Flores has released a new single, “Don’t Wanna Say Goodnight,” which premiered on BBC Radio 2’s The Country Show with Bob Harris.
