As the SEC Network (SECN) marks its 10th anniversary and the Southeastern Conference enters a new chapter with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas, country music star Brooke Eden has been chosen to breathe new life into the SEC Nation theme song. Eden’s revamped version of “Party Wherever We Go” debuted during the network’s traveling pre-game show on August 31, as the Florida Gators faced off against in-state rivals, the Miami Hurricanes.

Eden, an alumna of the University of Florida, expressed her excitement about the opportunity. “Getting to put my touch on the SEC Nation theme song and opening sequence is such a privilege in and of itself. Debuting it at my alma mater is nothing short of a full-circle moment,” she shared.

The updated theme song not only marks a milestone for SECN but also reflects the evolving landscape of the Southeastern Conference. Eden’s fresh take on “Party Wherever We Go” incorporates original lyrics that acknowledge the Sooners and Longhorns, adding a new dimension to the show’s opening sequence.

Brooke Eden has been making waves both internationally and domestically. She recently completed a performance at The Long Road Festival in the UK and has been on a media blitz across the airwaves. On the home front, Eden and her wife Hilary proudly shared their pregnancy news earlier this summer in an exclusive with People magazine. Eden also made appearances at prominent PRIDE festivals across the U.S. and returned to the CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

Eden’s talents extend beyond music, as she is also featured in the film “Rebel Country,” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and will open the Nashville Film Festival in September.

SEC Nation, which first aired on August 28, 2014, originally featured a customized version of Robert Randolph and The Family Band’s “Take The Party” as its theme song. Ten years later, Eden has put her unique twist on the tune, helping to usher in a new era for the SEC Network as it continues to bring the excitement of SEC football tailgates, stadiums, and sidelines to viewers every Saturday. The show, hosted by Laura Rutledge for her eighth season, will follow the 3:30 p.m. SEC on ABC showdown throughout the fall, with Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers, and Roman Harper returning as regulars.
