Adele Announces Extended Break from Music Following Las Vegas Residency

Adele has announced that she will be taking an extended hiatus from music after wrapping up her Las Vegas residency in November. The 36-year-old singer, known for hits like “Rolling in the Deep,” recently completed a series of performances at the Messe München arena in Germany, marking the end of her extensive tour.

Reflecting on her career, Adele shared with fans, “I’m not the most comfortable performer, I know that, but I am very f**king good at it.” She expressed gratitude for the nearly three years she has spent performing, stating, “It has been amazing, I just need a rest!”

Regarding her upcoming Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she said, “After that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time.” Adele also conveyed her deep appreciation for her fans, promising to cherish the memories of her recent shows.

In August, Adele revealed her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul, responding to a fan’s marriage proposal with, “I can’t marry you – because I’m already getting married!” Previously, Adele was married to entrepreneur Simon Konecki from 2018 to 2021, with whom she shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo.
