The 2024 McLeansboro Fall Festival is set to feature a star-studded lineup with 1990s country music icons Sammy Kershaw and John Berry headlining the event. The festival will run from Thursday, September 5th through Saturday, September 7th, offering three days of live music, food, crafts, and carnival fun.
John Berry will take the stage on Friday night, with the Girls Next Door opening the show at 7 p.m. On Saturday night, Sammy Kershaw will headline, with John Spicer stepping in as the new opening act at 7 p.m. Originally, Twisted Road was scheduled to open for Kershaw, but a scheduling conflict forced the band to withdraw.
The festival kicks off Thursday evening with a night of gospel music, featuring performances by the Ten Mile Church Praise Band and the Perry Case Band. Perry Case, a former Hamilton County resident now serving as a Worship Pastor in Jacksonville, Illinois, will return to his roots to perform at the event.
In addition to the musical performances, the festival will feature numerous food booths, crafters, and carnival rides. According to McLeansboro Kiwanis Club member Mark Auten, all 7,000 advance carnival ride tickets have already sold out, highlighting the festival’s popularity and the excitement surrounding this year’s event.
