Cardi B has addressed a circulating rumor regarding the name of her unborn child. On Sunday, the rapper took to Instagram to share images of herself with her baby bump and a sonogram. In her post, Cardi B expressed her eagerness to meet her baby, captioning the photos, “I wanna meet my little boo boo soo bad already.”
However, a fan later shared the sonogram on X, claiming the baby’s name would be “Hurricane.” Cardi quickly responded to the speculation, asking, “Who???” accompanied by crying emojis.
Cardi B revealed her pregnancy in late July, just one day after filing for divorce from her estranged husband, Offset. She has not yet disclosed the baby’s sex or due date. The couple already shares a daughter, Kulture, 6, and a son, Wave, 2.
In early August, Cardi reflected on her life changes and new beginnings in an Instagram post. She expressed gratitude for the support she has received, saying, “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” She also spoke about the challenges and joys of her journey, noting the importance of pushing through difficulties for the sake of her children.
Cardi B and Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, were married in a private ceremony in September 2017.
