On Wednesday, the “Pretty Heart” singer shared a Reel on Instagram from his time in the recording studio, teasing a potential new track titled “What Kinda Man.” The post, captioned “9.13,” suggests a possible release date for the song.
In the video, McCollum is heard discussing music choices, saying, “We can chase that,” to which a colleague replies, “I would do whatever you want.” McCollum responds, “I don’t know, I want to do them all,” as clips of the studio session play.
Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation, speculating that “What Kinda Man” might drop on September 13. McCollum’s most recent album, Never Enough (2023), produced hits like “Burn It Down” and “Handle on You.”
In addition to his musical success, McCollum recently welcomed his first child, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, with wife Hallie Ray on August 8.
