Brooklyn came alive on Friday night (Sept. 6) as Billboard’s Hip-Hop Live concert took over the Xanadu roller rink. The event followed Billboard’s 2024 R&B Hip-Hop Power Players celebration earlier in the week, drawing fans to the heart of Bushwick for a night of dynamic performances.
Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artist, BigXthaPlug, kicked off the night around 9:40 p.m. ET. Fresh off a cross-country trip from the West Coast, BigX commanded the stage with his Texas-sized confidence, donning a white soccer jersey before slipping into his signature shirtless look. The performance set the energetic tone for the evening, as hundreds of fans packed the new venue, eagerly awaiting the other acts.
The night continued with performances from Teezo Touchdown and Bossman Dlow, capping off an unforgettable concert in the borough that’s become synonymous with hip-hop culture.
